This is absolutely my dream pocket groovebox. I don't usually preorder things, but I preordered it immediately. It's stereo, polyphonic, it has mutes, you can sample directly into it, you can shop directly on it, envelopes for pitch filter and amplitude, tons of stereo effects, USBC out for audio, it's pocketable, battery powered, and costs 200 dollars. I can't say that about any other sampler I own, like the PO33, Vocla Sample 2, even my circuit rhythm. I think I finally found my perfect sampler. ALSO if you're planning on getting this, spend like 10 bucks and buy a bunch of "Tall Trim Toppers", they fit perfectly and really improve the feel. You'll thank me later.

I got one, and fun thing about the granular... since you can control the playhead speed, you can use it to timewarp samples! So I've set up the last pattern in memory to have the granular set up with the best settings for that, so then you just set the playhead speed such that the sample ends up as fast or as slow as you want, then resample it back to a pad, and bam... timewarp. Considering that timewarping IS fundamentally a form of granular synth, I'm surprised they don't have a little macro do do that automatically

@sailingstar81763 ай бұрын
Exactly. I think this is more interesting than a 404, more modern, making better use of the BMC chip. It's just lacking a decent screen, and wouldn't it have been so nice if you could've saved the entire memory into a Project? Actually, it's more like a cut-down MC (101 or 707), and if you have one of those, you essentially already have a better P-6 (minus the granular).
