Roland RD-2000 - How to split 8 Zones

Hi Ed, on some Roland synths it's possible to do a velocity fade at the top and bottom of the zone range. I find this really handy to layer a bass sound with the piano and have the bass fade out as you go higher up the keyboard. Can you do this on the RD-2000?

I appreciate the explanation, but for me, you went through it so fast, choosing buttons, turning knobs, that it was hard for me to really gain and step-by-step guide of what to do. I will literally have to slow the video down, pausing it from moment-to-moment, in order to set up my keyboard. I know it might be hard or feel like a waste of time, but if you could remake some of these videos, slowing down each step, that would be really useful. Regardless, I plan on watching all that you have. Thanks for posting these here and on your website.

1) Does it have PORTAMENTO function? 2) does it have HAMMOND sound? and can we manage it with BARS? 3) how can we put WAH WAH Efect to CLAV sound?

Yeah...RANDOM is right...Why not have taken a few minutes of forethought & done something musical to have have shown how there might be an ounce of practical value in all that manipulation? There's way too much value put on tweaking & editing & features & overbuilt options. EIGHT different sounds in EIGHT little zones? Really? How useful is that?
