I love that the beat sounds like it was sampled from a PS1 game

I don't like this Latvian song as much as the Lithuanian ones. In fact, even though I like a lot of Lithuanian music (both music that's posted by ultradiskopanorama. and some others I have found on KZbin by Sekmadienis, Elektra, Vaivorykste, etc), I don't think I've ever liked a Latvian song. Why not? Why is Latvia so much worse than Lithuania? Is it just my own personal taste?

Different music cultures. Lithuania is culturally close to Poland and this reflects in the dance music scene of the 90’s. Bear in mind Poland is the land of polka and marzuka. When the eurodance craze started, it naturally took root in Poland, resulting in a prolific local scene. Lithuania followed the same pattern.

If I made a song in Garageband it’d probably sound like this, I’m not sure yet

To me, this song sounds more like a Latvian euro house.
