What app are you making use of for the sample work? I have an SP-606 and am still trying to figure out a convenient way to load samples onto it, since I don’t have equipment that supports the size of the storage card the SP comes with.

Press Function-Button and Sample Parameter, select „one shot“ in Playmode and „Mono“ in playtype. You can also configure „mute groups“.
