Sounds kind of like what I would expect a FPS game set in the Simpson's house to sound like. Or perhaps Flanders'. I'm hesitant to invest in Roland's new green-wave, save for the TR8, so it's interesting to hear someone use that one, and the others, with some actual art.

@Michael Smith Yes I agree about the simpsons comment :) I actually get a lot more use out of the M1. I have an old SH-2 and the plugin sounds so close, it seems pointless keeping the sh really. I'm not that keen on the actual system 1 synth, I much prefer the plugins. I don't think it sounds great in poly compared to the software synths I have. As a mono it is a great sounding VA. These things in the flesh aren't as ugly, I hated the Aira look at first, calling them 'try hard Tron rejects' but the TR-8 is actually really nice in person, feel a bit light, but thats a bonus if you gig. I have no plans to get rid of the M1, it does the Roland mono sound as well as you could hope for in digital. The envelopes give it away more than anything else, but any sound I have made on the SH-2 I can duplicate almost identically on the M1.
