Roland System-500 - "Magic Drops" by Gattobus

Here's a video of my latest modular composition with a quick tutorial to show how I patch everything up to get all the sounds I need.
Every sound you hear come from the Roland System-500 eurorack modular synthesizer.

I bought another system 500. I sold it because of some family emergencies I was dealing with and I'm happy to have it again. I know it is expensive but with the right modulea around it. You can make some great sounds. Sounds excellent in the mix. Great acid lines. Great bass. For more mature sounds like this... very nice.

Around 1:17 it starts to sound like a mix between Morricone's score for The Thing (bass track) and the soundtrack to Turbo Kid by Le Matos. Nice work!

How do you like the Carbon compared to other sequencers?

Not many stand alone 4 track CV sequencers out there... It's very easy to use and it's possible to switch scenes on the fly. You can program an entire liveset with it. I love it :)
