I had the exact same problem showing the exact same display faults and did this with mine before seeing this vid and it works perfectly for about 5 minutes until it warms up a bit then reverted back the the same problem so I’m thinking mine has deeper problems! Funny thing is if I switch it off and on again it works fine for another few minutes it’s an odd one 🤔

I just punched a replacement digital display from drum superstore Uk , it’s not a Roland part and the led is blue but looks better than the original Roland display in my opinion. but it works perfectly a little pricey at £253 delivered but better than a useless brain I guess and certainly cheaper than a new one ! Kits as good as new again now thanks drum superstore Uk 🙏👌👍

@@AdamRobertshaw definitely worth it though dude mines still working perfectly a year or so on ! it was scrap before I fitted it . Treat yourself 😜🤘
