I bought my set in 2016 and I can't get the sensitivity. Do I need to replace the triggers in the pads or is this set trash. I updated the td 30 module. Went to factory reset and I can do a buzz roll on the snare. What would you suggest? Thanks

Getting this next week. Will trade in my TD20X module for the TD30, and add it to my TD20KX hardware. Roland says you need the new pads and cymbals to benefit from the improved sensitivity, but thats not true. It's 90 percent module.

Hey Dude! Epic Demonstration! Realy shows the performance of the TD-30! Can you do a Td-30K Demonstration like this one? It was epic!

one thing i notice these guys dont tell you also is that you can utilize software powered stuff like battery which utilizes TONS of sound libraries on the computer... this is huge!
@mel240111 жыл бұрын
Totally right. If you look at the lower price TD-30K kit it comes with the original black cymbals aka TD-20 and a VH-11 hi-Hat!! OMFG they could have at least included a VH-12 as a minimum for that price. However clearly the kit works fine with older legacy Roland hardware. so I am just gonna buy the module.

Now what I said about the dw edrums I still have a problem, and this goes with all electric drums is the feel of cymbals. I did not like the feel of the edrums because I felt like I was playing on plastic (and they sounded like it too). I am wanting to know what are any of these companies doing to get rid of the clacking sound of their cymbals and give us a real feeling cymbal? I will say I do like Roland in regards to sound quality they out do a lot of companies, and they are sharp looking.

Ok I am a big acoustic drums guy, but I do have a respect for electric drums and what they do for small venues and churches. I have been looking at what Roland, Yamaha, and many other companies are doing with their edrums and I am impressed.... But one thing that still irritates me is the fact except for the dw edrums there has been no company that has a feel like acoustic drums. And by the way my church has the roland v series with the mesh heads.

Dude. Those are real drum sounds allright. Acoustic kits sounds are recorded and mixed just to sound like that. So, by your logic, acoustic kits don't sound like real drums also when a sound engineer handles them.
@mvedeel12 жыл бұрын
Awesome kit ! But I think most of us will first have to go back to university and get our degree in electronic engineering before knowing how to play properly on this kit !!!! To my mind the world of E-drums is becoming more and more sophisticated and perhaps even reserved for some very targeted and specialized targeted users. But is also true for everything related to the world of computer, office, telephony and other technologies involving electronics. Ordinary mortal can no longer follow

It would be a waste of money. Why would you want a $4,500 electric kit? You could get a custom acoustic set to YOUR own specifications, and you could customize it however you want for less than $4,500.
@cleverest11 жыл бұрын
To jam "loudly" with headphones without getting evicted in an environment that you can't bang drums in? Acoustic mufflers suck in comparison.
@chrisact96018 жыл бұрын
Great product. Seriously impressive. But for Roland to release a video like this with such poor audio quality is nothing short of embarrassing. Could nobody find a compressor for Simon's microphone? Surely Roland makes a few.

Too expensive and machine gunny toms. 4k not bloody 8k for plasticky sounding drums. The Mark Drums ,even though a budget kit sound better than these. And the 2box.
