It would really be cool if "Probability" could be added to "triggered" notes. I don't see why you couldn't, the probability would be happening on the TR-8S, deciding whether or not to trigger a pulse.

i would love if it sends the trigger out whether or not the fader is up or down, so like, if i use the rimshot instrument channel as the trigger sequencer and i can decide if i want to hear it or not simultaneously with the synths, but can just use the fader to turn down its sound

Could I use a 3.5mm cable splitter, and control multiple pieces of external gear with just the single trigger out? That way, I don't need to use up any of the audio outputs for a trigger.

Greetings, this is a question unrelated to the video, I sent a few tracks/instruments to the assignable outputs but i was trying to figure out if there is a way to have the master FX, delay and reverb of the TR8S effect outputs? Because once I assigned those tracks to the independent outputs they were no longer affected by the master FX, delay and reverb of the unit

Does anyone know... Could you use the TR8-S in place of an expression pedal? Like If I have a (idk) fuzz with a cutoff, could I use the TR8S to trigger parameters of that pedal???

What cables are you using out of the assignable audio track?

Just a normal jack, as it's carrying audio

Is the Roland TR8S trigger signal compatible with eurorack to trigger modules or send audio to a module?

Yes it works : ) You can send clock to your *eurorack modules* or trigger envelope generators. I have not tried the other features yet though

Not via trigger. Not sure you can send out coarse tuning via midi cc.

Is there a way to start the TR8S with a foot switch? I play guitar and would like to be able to control when the machine plays with a pedal of some kind

Yes you can , if i hit the pedal on my loopstation the tr8 s starts at the same time ... but you have to sync with midi
