I’m using a rechargeable power bank designed for laptops. It is set to 12v, I’ve had the same power bank for 10 years and I can still get a good 18-24 hours on a full charge. It fits nicely behind the treble keyboard attaches with Velcro and is covered by the bellows protector. Works great for my fr-3s and my fr-3x I see no reason it shouldn’t work for my fr-4x when I eventually purchase one. I had to reverse the wiring for the 3x as it’s a different polarity, and I drilled a hole through the battery compartment cover to run out a cable to the power bank.

?? why not just use orginal power cable to do same ?

No room for heat dissipation while they charge, I wouldn't recommend this honestly. But that's just me.
