Sounds like you have a bad damper or you have them installed incorrectly where valves are touching each other

From my experience, typically, if the ink cartridges have been stored in the machine since it has been down, I see fewer issues as ink typically clogs at the point of air. If the ink cartridges were not in the machine, likely needles and lines need to be gone through. Other factors include ink brand. Some aftermarkets clog much more than others. At this point, I don't see any reason to tear into the choke valve. If I were you and looking to bring it back to life, I would invest in a couple of cleaning cartridges. Remove the old print head and dampers and take note of the ink line order at the head. I would one at a time syringe the lines (carefully with paper towels under to avoid a mess) as soon as you insert a cleaning cart. Gravity will cause the ink to drip, assuming no clog Let the line drip in a solvent resitant container. until all ink is expelled. After the line is clear, I like to gently take syringe, and both pull and push back and forth and then suck the remaining out. If at any time the ink does not flow, you have a clog. Likely, your clogs are going to be in the circulation pumps, which I will typically bypass and reroute the lines. Just note never to use white or metallic inks if the circulation system is bypassed. You can either change ink mode or use cleaning cartridges in white / metallic slots. I would do all of this before even ordering new captop, heads, and dampers. I have a video on unclogging a needle on an old SP where I push air with a syringe. Do not use this method on the VS as there are so many ink joints that could cause an air leak.

@@reprint217 I thank you so much sir for your fruitfull advice. Then ink were not removed since then and i used original roland ink. Moreover i already purchased new ink pipes, new dampers, second hand dx7 printhead, new captop and new ink pump. So i just want to start changing ink pipes before installing the printhead. However i asked another question regarding installation of second hand dx7.is there any need to put the codes in the service menu like how you do when istalling new printhead sir? Once again i thank you so much for you help sir.God bless you more.
