The fact you got Ice Cube in the back singing My Girl shows how much of a classic this song is and forever will be
@rodnelson192 жыл бұрын
That's not why it's a classic. He's 53 years old. He grew up to this music as a kid cleaning the house on Saturdays.
@jacquelineaston27182 жыл бұрын
@@rodnelson19 If Ice Cube grew up to Motown, it's because his parents were playing oldies. Motown was big in the 60's. By the time he was old enough to be cleaning houses..... in the 80's...Motown was beginning to be considered "oldies."

you know you gettin' old, but born again, when you can easily remember these living legends, Smokey, Jeffrey and Eddie, as VERY young cats with afros and tight, shiny pants...but you know what?...I dont see nobody comin down the road to fill their shoes, either.

That's why they call him Smokey. Nobody sings like Smokey. That light textured voice he and Curtis Mayfield in a league all their own.. So smooth. But that song belongs to other than David Ruffin..

These two greats are different types of singers. Smokey is like a smooth high pitched alto. Where Eddie LeVert is more rough and aggressive with is voice. All singers are legendary. Smokey with the miracles and Eddie with the o'jays.

So here's the thing Beyonce she made a very bold move open doors for those especially that she's in this business for over 21 years this is not the first time Beyonce has been on it's not the first time that she could have open doors back then she had the power and she had the influence to do it if you look back in the piers Bowl covers she didn't hire a black photography back then and she could have done it she didn't go to a black designer to wear their clothes on the cover of Vague you see when you became so big even 10 years ago you can open doors long time ago and anything that you wanted to be done and any cover of magazine that you appear on from the Rolling Stone magazine wish you had been on the cover at eight other ones I know nothing is like people saying this is a major magazine when in the past role did appreciate black women they never recognized the full figure women then every knowledge African women and their culture no it's not they have a long way to go this magazine been around for a long time to all the great things that happened in this country civil rights yet they choose to ignore what was going on in this country with black Americans they only choose to show skinny size 0 to 3 under covers and that represent who they were I was never in press with Vogue magazine the way they did with her issues and handle what was going on with teenagers like telling them that there are not good enough is like now they're just starting to address problems that's going on in his country are they just using us so they can sell magazines let's talk about Rihanna who was on the cover was that a great thing we call it was an issue but now Beyonce is on there and everything is smooth sailing and everything is all good no Vogue magazine I don't think so you have a tendency to pick certain things and Southern issues to sell your magazine because the sales are going down I feel that you using my sisters and whatever issue that they've going through their life sell your magazine or whatever you need to address so no thank you for your service Vouge
