“Role of a Lifetime” is Peter’s first solo in bare. It shows his frustration in being closeted and, while You & I shows the relationship’s over-all dynamic, this serves as one inside perspective of Peter and Jason. The song also uses a lot of theatre metaphors, as theatre and acting are a major theme in the show.

I didn't put anything on his vocals! it's the studio version I think, not sure why it sounds weird. ;-; but i'll be revamping and finishing my lyric videos for this show soon (this is 2 years later Im commenting this... a lot has happened since I uploaded the video lol) so hopefully can fix the issue
