Headcanon time for this au! Telemachus has been able to grow and learn more with Odysseus there, who trains him in secret with the help of Athena, so when he fights the suitors he does better than he did initially Like, maybe it takes two others ganging up on him before Antinous starts to actually win in this version and Athena pops in to help

@Ella_abraxas oh absolutely I rarely have the motivation for long term projects so I need to see all of my silly little ideas come to life through other people so feel free to use it Another idea: Penelope, once she gets home, absolutely makes fun of Odysseus for having to deal with the suitors, after they kill them as a family No way in hell was Ody gonna miss out on the action, so with his newly restringed bow (which the suitors are very, very confused by), he jumps right into action More of a silly thing, but Odysseus watches the suitors try to restring the bow for like an hour and then just does it himself, shoots the arrow perfectly, and walks off like "well I guess none of you can marry me then >:3"

Does Pen still reveal her name here, since in the og EPIC, Ody revealed his name cuz Athena interrupted him while he was escaping “That siren would not make it out alive if it were me” Oh I’m sure Ody. I’m sure lmao. Ody love his wife so much it’s actually sickening Jesus (Also is it just me or is this Ody more willing to become the monster ? Like in original EPIC it took Underworld Saga for him to the monster, while this Ody was willing to throw hands at the first opportunity. Well ig dealing with the suitors couldn’t have been easy… And this Telemachus is more ruthless too, but he got Monster Ody raising him so not surprising)

He was always capable of becoming a monster in the Og odyssey (I think, don’t quote me on that 😭) I was always calculating and willing to do anything for the protection of his family so I included that thought the dialogue/thoughts Also Penelope reveals her husbands name. Out of song she stuttered on her words because she wasn’t thinking since her husbands best friend died in front of her. But in the song she was confident in it. As the journey progresses everyone understands that it’s Penelope only people who don’t are the suitors.

Yes and no. Polities knows it’s not Odysseus obvi. Eurylochus was told that it wasn’t him. The rest of the crew slowly learns over time that its Penelope but respect her- somewhat.
