I love the new BLNR so much I had to add one to my collection. Surprise, surprise, it has become my favorite Rolex model of all time. Hands down more comfortable than the oyster bracelet and yet gives all the bling without the chronic hairline scratches the pcl get just by looking at them. The new super Jubilee bracelet follows every curve of your wrist yet is so strong and oozes quality. Love to see this on the dive models as it breaths and flows water significantly better than my oyster on my DSSD JC. The color of the blue ceramic bezel is perfect to the point it is so much more premium looking than it’s sister BLRO that has muted and pastel bezel colors. This is the one Rolex watch that can be used for all occasions. It has sidelined my other Rolex models. I even take my BLNR snorkeling and use its GMT bezel for simple timing tasks like grill cooking, etc...

Awesome, $5000 over retail price, love it when Rolex does this, sells to guys like you(who immediately resells the watch the minute his foot is out of the store), and leaves the average Joe who wants the watch in a position where they have to to pay 50% more money for the watch.

Rolex doesn’t care about the ”average joe”. Rolex only cares about establishing and moving their brand even more upmarket. They have shown this over and over. Rolex could easily make their watches more accessible.

Mitch Lososya there is no such thing as a wait list, I bought my first Rolex two months ago, a date just 41, and one month later the AD called and had my oyster steel sub ready for me to purchase. You need to have a relationship with your AD. They are not going to sell a sought after item to a complete stranger.

Actually it's worse than that, Watchbox got it directly from their own Govberg store. Why sell it new for 9k at their AD when they can take the stickers off and send it across the street to their second hand store and sell it for 24k

I didn’t know Govberg is and AD? I thought Rolex withdraw their licence if an AD get caught doing inside trading?

@@Prophet293 They are a HUGE AD for almost every brand. Rolex doesn't care what happens to their watches after they sell them to the AD's. They know what goes on and they turn a blind eye. Rolex's customer is the AD, not the end user.

@@jerrywest3668 You have to be kidding me right? AD's selling directly to the grey market is a huge part of an AD's business. Go to your local grey dealer area and you will see hundreds of hot models in the cases, and they are mostly from the AD's. Flippers do exist but are responsible for a smaller percentage of grey stock. No Rolex AD's have been taken away in recent years for selling to the grey market. Rolex can track every warranty card if they wanted to, but don't.

Yea it’s a beautiful watch and while I could buy the real thing I’ll just get a knock off. I don’t buy watches as assets. I buy them to wear them. I’d rather take the left over 15,000 and invest in something else.

Believe it or not, they actually did. The last few millimeters of the lugs taper more than the previous generation. Its difficult to explain without seeing a 116710 and 126710 in person.
