Bought my GF the 36mm two tone datejust with jubilee bracelet and green diamond roman dial. She was over the moon. Looks so good on a ladys wrist.

You've done the right thing choosing the Oyster bracelet. My lady datejust 28 mm has the Jubilee bracelet and it was a huge mistake. The clasp constantly falls open and on the half-dozen times I've dared to wear the watch, it has fallen off my wrist each time. Fortunately this has been on a soft surface or into my sleeve. It's been back to Rolex twice and all they do is swap out the clasp for a new one, but the problem remains. There is clearly a design flaw with the hidden Jubilee clasp on the 28 mm. I now have a very expensive watch I can't safely wear without tying something around the clasp area to keep it closed. If I sell the watch I'm going to lose a lot of money on it. Reading around the Internet I'm not the only person with this issue. The Rolex boutique will of course sell me an Oyster bracelet at great expense, but my old Rolex has that and I wanted a change.

Great review of your beautiful piece - I loved the photos you shared stying it differently with the with the Chanel bags and Cigar!! Totally had to show that to my wife! My wife has the 31mm DJ and loves hers but we love the 28mm as well - they are both great in their own right - love to see how you wear it daily & enjoy…but still take proper care of it! Still looks to be in great condition Im hoping for another Daytona for 2024 to add to my collection - yellow gold/oysterflex we’l see

That watch will last you forever unless you want to size up. I had a 26mm, had it for 15 years but can’t read well, trade up for a bigger size.

I would choose this for my girlfriend/wife as IMHO represents the things I love in a woman: showing mature strength of character and resilience, while preserving her femininity and beauty. (plus it will go well with my 124060)
