Rolex Middle Sea Race 2024 | SWAN 47 Lazy Duck - John and Thomas Ripard

Returning to the Rolex Middle Sea Race is John Ripard sailing aboard the Lazy Duck, a boat with a rich history that last raced in 2008.
This year, John, son of one of the race’s founders, will sail double-handed with his son Thomas. John Ripard has taken part in over 30 Rolex Middle Sea races.
After an extensive refit, the duo is eager to tackle the challenge together. Tom, who has experience in several fully crewed races, shared, “It’s extra special to do this with my father on a boat I grew up on. We’re nearly ready and can’t wait to get to the start line!”
