For those who are wondering why all those teams are slamming the way they are, going in full guns blazing and playing sort of recklessly (that is also a part of the team plan) is because of the new points system in the tournament. Basically, you get 10 points for WWCD, 6 for 2nd, 5 for 3rd, 4 points for 4th, 3 points for 5th, 2 points for 6th, 1 points each for 7th and 8th and 0 for 9th and onwards. Also, if you secure a kill before the end of 2nd zone, u will get double points for each kill. So the overall weightage of the game has shifted towards getting kills, and early too... Teams were looting fast then targeting the teams dropping nearby them in all guns and glory mode because that gives the attacking team advantage of surprise and the enemy teams are scattered around in those early zones for looting. If they die, they die. But if they win the fight, they get easy 8 points for just wiping one team.

@Asif Qureshi Apparently the pubg developers don't think so. They organised the longest pubg mobile event, lasting for 53 days, the PEL, based upon this point system. Pretty sure it will come to the global system as well.

@S The old system is too boring in my opinion. The players play with too much caution and barely fights during the start of the match and during the last circle all teams will be going into the zone and getting wiped out , the team which gets into the center of the zone luckily wisn almost every single time. Getting maximum points by getting into the top 3 and getting chicken is the top priority and teams always avoid most of the fights during early games, but the in the new points system getting top 3 is just not enough you need to also have kills by fighting early, you squad wipe 1 team get 8 points which is close to the maximum points of getting a chicken dinner. Teams will be going in for fights, just like in this video. It's more fun this way and players will not be just going for top 5 and going in for the kills which makes the game much more interesting in my opinion.

@@cheeekukachaku yeah. That and the position points have been reduced to 10 for wwcd, 8 for 2nd rank and 6 for 3rd rank. So it is better to get kills early in the matches to get double points for each kill. Just wiping one teams before end of 2nd zone will give easy 8 points, so why bother with zone rotations and surviving till end. They still do that, but that is just the bonus points now.

Fact - The kills in the first 2 zones count as 2 points each, and after that 1 point, and the position points are like only 10 points for the chicken dinner, that is why they are so aggresive

No Chinese players don't play like this usually they prefer to play passive and strategically but this year PEL is in TPP and they have seen that gunpower of other teams has also upgraded so now they have started playing aggressively

2 points per kill in 1st two zone has been going around for more then 1year already. The new match points system is like recent so, it has no link to that 2 points per kill. They are trying to make pel more interesting with those new match points system. That 2 point per kill started in 2020. I don't exactly know which season.

I’ve been following for a year now coz @Zootay have been screen casting their gameplay. What I know is that comparing the global teams when Chinese players played in TPP they’re the most aggressive when playing in TPP. And why? It’s because their placements points have been revised and not the same like Global PUBGM, kills have been the same as Global but their placement points is like WWCD-10points and Kills-1point. Yet still global follows the old which is if WWCD-15 and 1 point for kill points. This is why they’re aggressive.

Well I do follow many Chinese teams the reason they are so much aggressive is because of their points system they get only 10 points for a wwcd and also they have a system where they get 2 points per kill if they get kills in 1 and 2 second zone so if a team wipes 2 squads before 2nd Circle and dies immediately but a squad gets 1 kill wwcd still the team that died early would end up having more points so they try to stack up kill points instead of position points knowing that if they eliminate the giants winning would become easy Also they have dynamic drop system their drops depends on which rank they finished last game so no clarity of what would happen next so they would be always on their toes to eliminate the competition around them Sorry if I had bad English 😅

They're aggresive on 1st & 2nd circle bc 1 kill = 2 points. rest circle is normal. 1st Place- 10 points 2nd Place- 6 points 3rd Place- 5 points 4th Place- 4 points 5th Place - 3 points 6th Place - 2 points 7th Place- 1 point 8th Place- 1 point 9th to 15th Place- 0 points.
