For me I would stick with the Sub. The Sea Dweller is just too thick and heavy. Even better still is the Grand Seiko SBGA231 in titanium. With that watch you get a large watch presence with the comfort of a smaller watch.

The sea dweller absolutely blows the sub out of the water I could not understand why a man would want a sub over the Sea-Dweller unless you have very pencil thin wrists. 43 mm is certainly not that large on a man with a good-sized wrist. Of course I have almost 8 and 1/2 inch wrists. but any 14 ml to watch that I tried on looks like an absolute stamp and ridiculously small

Great watch. I have the 904L version, 126600. A definite upgrade and improvement over my Ceramic Sub, 116610, which I had just sold. Frankly, when you consider the overall package, including movement technology, for most watch enthusiasts it may come down to either this or the GO. SeaQ Panorama Date. It was a tough call for me and it should be a tough call for lots of other folks.

Just picked up a 2 tone Sea-Dweller myself thanks to this video. I really wanted the 2 tone submariner, but after getting one on my wrist it just felt too small. The Sea-Dweller is just like the sub, but bigger! I love it!

Hi, literally an hour after watching your unboxing video yesterday I got the call from my AD saying my Sea Dweller 43 50th anniversary had arrived, I turn 50 this year which is why I wanted that time piece, having had a sub 116610 I think the Sea Dweller fits me a lot better, it’s fantastic looking watch and it’s going to be my new daily, thanks for your uploads you’ve definitely got a subscribe from me

Great choice! You won't regret it. I own a variety of sport Rolexes but I keep going back to my Explorer I. Try it on an Everest black rubber strap with the Rolex deployant clasp, It is stunning.

Your dealer presented this watch incorrectly according to the Rolex guidelines. The manual should be placed on top of the white foam wrapper so as to be the first thing you see when you open it! Yes that is a real thing apparently!

It looks really nice but gold on a sports/tool watch niggles me. Yes your AD is hinting you have gone as far as you need with Rolex. I would be looking at PP, Breguet or F P Journe next.

Big, Bold & Beautiful 🌟🍾🥂I was really noticing how the gold Sea-Dweller looked so beautiful against the dial right before you brought it up, never noticed that the sub was all in white print and pulled out my blue dial 16613 to fall in love all over again with all the gold text🌟👑 Really like the Sea-Dweller, so much watch and hell the Gold makes it that much more stunning.. Also sea dweller is a tool watch and it is kind of pointless being two tone. This is what would make sense to me . For one watch two tone sub, for two watches, two tone sub and ss (no gold)sd43

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s my grail watch was a two tone day date. I was never able to rise above a stainless date just. Because I liked to play golf, have a house and cars. Of late the two tones have been out of fashion so to speak. But I have always felt they did it all. Dressy and sporty all in one. Too bad they still do not make a two tone day date.
