Celestial was very lucky. I noticed that she had blown out the headboard on the mainsail which could have led to further damage that would have snatched victory away from her again.

Fantastic photography in this video. I only wish the reporting of all of the competitors was allot better during the race. There was very little out of CYCA nothing from Channel 10 9 or 7. Only the ABC had a bit on the evening news. And thanks ABC for that which was well put together. Yachting in Australia is a dying sport. I grew up sailing and racing dinghies on Port Phillip and later larger boats. We need to get kids involved and enthused. It isn't a sport just for the wealthy anyone can be involved. Good sailing this summer everyone.
