Do you think you could run a Farma S230 head and put a dump/bin body on your Alstor to fell and process all in one step? It would make a lot more trips in and out of the forest, but would remove a lot of handling.

That's an interesting idea and I think it would work. Dont know if the Farmi head works with the Alstor but I know that they sell an tipper body attachment- you just have to remove the counterweights to make it fit.

What was the diameter of this wood? About 10-15 cm at chest height?

Vi köpte en Alstor 821, dom andra maskinerna som jag lägger ut videor på är bara Alstors demomaskiner.

Yes I have seen it, Im sure its a good machine- But I like the Alstor better because it is a Combi machine , both a harvester and a forwarder.
