I'm looking forward to starting Rolfing with a therapist in my area soon.

I'm non the wiser after watching this. It's all so abstract with lots of fancy 'buzz-words' with no referents; no actual description or info on what all this 'integration' etc actually IS! What is it about & what does it claim to do & how? I'm guessing it's some non-mainstream type of physiotherapy or osteopathy maybe? Does it aim to ease pain? Improve posture? Speed up soft tissue healing or improve circulation or ease tense muscles? How is it different from normal NHS physiotherapy exercises here in England? (chiropractic, reiki etc don't use proper medical knowledge & can be very dangerous, so I'm wary after some bad experiences.) There are so very many gimmicky 'therapies' that it's hard to distinguish them, like Alexander technique, Tai chi, yoga etc, etc.

I subscribe with your doubts and questions. My sister herself is a practitioner of this technique. But I am not convinced enough, because it looks like it has some traits of pseudoscience. I want to learn more on this topic. Thanks.

Always doubt those that speak with vagueness. Literally if you want any questions about this modality answered you gotta pay thousands of dollars to be a part of their in person program. No thanks

You are right. Recently, someone said to me, are you guys still around? Yes, we are. I will have you know that Rolfing/Structural Integration is the best kind of body work you can get for muscular-skeletal issues. You can fault us for not having gotten the word out but the fact remains that after first sessions I hear---"Why didn't I know about this before"--a lot.
