I am not much into Nooks lately. More intense on 3d wood puzzles but this the way it looks including the water effect i just purchased it.I might remove the gondola to see more water. Good finding.

That's why I like to bounce around to different types of builds, keeps them all interesting, that should work, there are knockouts for the gondola's pegs, so I think it should look like all water.
