There is also adjustments within the software that can change the dyno reading, I actually have seennone recently that change how it was reading something to gwt the correct reading and in that case it dropped quite a bit as well

Hub dyno vs wheel dynos make huge difference as well. Some are for marketing too but are a good tuning tool. My td42 is making 256rwhp on a hub dyno at 24psi. Threw it on a truck roller dyno just to check the afrs, boost and egt adjust valves etc and see took a sniffer of fuel out of it on 33” mud tyres made 207rwhp

@@dennchh1823 exactly right. When it’s done a few more Kay’s and some towing we will bump it up a bit more power wise.

Clevelands dyno is a hub dyno aswell

@@hotworksfabwonder if different brand and different software etc? Be interesting to see it on that dyno and the power difference again all interest. The best thing is doesn’t matter what dyno etc as they are all a tool for tuning/ keeping a check on things. I try to get my rig on a dyno every couple of years and check it over.

Hub dyno is more accurate. A roller dyno is highly dependent on how the car is strapped down.
