Roll Racing Perth is EPIC...THE FINALS!

I attended the Roll Racing Perth event presented by Roll Racing Australia & Gulf Western Oils @ carco.com.au raceway. In this FINAL video I had last chat to some of the drivers before heading out to eliminations and caught most of the last runs for the night including the epic final between the R35 GTR Skyline & Toyota Cressida. This event was EPIC so I decided to get the content out there quickly and do a few part series of the event.

Down there is Australia, perhaps you have heard of Morgan Cars? They "mated" our Ford 5-speed gearbox to our MG Midget. We visited the factory, such workmanship, incredible. This bloke on the factory floor had metal skippets, fitting a bonnet to a vehicle selling for £96,000 with his tongue hung-out! It fitted.

I have a MG Midget 1967 Chrome, 16-valve, DOHC, 1.8VVC mated to a Ford 5-speed, LandRover rear diff. installed together with Jenvy Fuel Injection. Rear wheels show 142bhp on Sport (5 settings) via the Emerald ECU, running MiniLites on Michelin. It runs pretty well. From the outside it's just another MG Midget 100% restored, you couldn't tell any difference, until the press the GO button. Dialled at 0-60mph is 3.9 seconds, faster than any Ferrari or Porche or anything on the road. Anyway, total cost, £24,322.

Motorcycles, NW-200 is the fastest road circuit in the United Kingdom. Fastest bike speed recorded was 222mph, the recorder was outside our garden wall, we just felt the wind, didn't see a thing, just a blur.
