I'm a HUGE Speedwagon fan, and damn I'm shocked how they were able to get their guitar tones to match Gary's tone so close! I loved how the boys split the vocal duties as well!! Jessica came busting in the place with her vocal harmonies as well. Damn fine job to everyone. I can't stop watching your videos!!! I just found you guys three days ago and I'm hooked like a crackhead in Harlem!

I'll have to say they do a credible job...but...I went back and listened to Gary's solos on the original and he has a bit more bite on that Les Paul of his. It's hard to recreate someone's tone exactly and Gary was a very talented guy with a sound of his own.

wow i thought the guy played great but just did not have the gary tone dialed in. gary kicked the mids very aggressive way of playing lots of scratch and slide mixed in with each change .. one trick i know is gary liked to set a wha pedal about 1/2 way when he wanted over the top he just clicked it on then just backed out of it real smooth almost could not tell he even used it

@@robertruth3281 He got such a bad rap after they did " Hi Infidelity" and "Keep On Loving You". Gary was one of my earliest guitar influences when I heard "Live. You Get What You Play For" as a 10 year old. His guitar and pickups always sounded "hot" to me. RIP Gary. No one talked with their guitar the way you did!

I've seen REO lots of times in the Richrath era... This takes me back. Gary used to go into his guitar solo and Kevin and Bruce used to put on goofy disguises and walk the concert areas and buy things from vendors when all of a sudden they would be lit up from an overhead spotlight and take off for the stage!! Wow, anybody else remember that?

The layers are incredible and production value off the charts. If modern music can be said to be lacking, much is due to it's one dimensional production value. It makes a great song orders of magnitude better.

Coming from Central Illinois always a fan of REO. I was lucky enough to spend several hours with Gary Richrath one afternoon after he left REO and was playing with his own band. He was a sweet guy and showed me his vintage Les Paul's backstage when he found out I played guitar, what a thrill. Super guy and a great cover of a great song. Keep it up!

One of my favorite songs from REO. I must have listened to that song more than a 100 times. The vocals are Awesome as are the guitar solos. Great job carrying the background on piano. Just get the B3 solo cleaned up a little more so its more definitive like the original recording and its perfect. Great job on the drums they were spot on. A huge fan of LLB.
