He didn't really say you have to do strength and conditioning, he was just describing Lucas Lepri's particular training schedule. All Babs said was that you have to be dedicated 100%, which Caio certainly is.

Great interview with Babs. He says though that you have to be willing to loose on the mat during training so you can grow and succeed in tournaments. I always loose on the mat (not intentionally) and still haven't passed white belt...hahaa

How is Budo Jake almost a black belt when in all his videos he is defending, never attacking and always trying to escape bad positions? I understand not trying too hard to submit an instructor of a school, but away from that, I don't see many advanced brown belt skills being exhibited in his sparring sessions. But then again, I've never rolled with him.
