I recommend anything except a SLR camera for infrared. Rangefinders and viewfinder cameras are great. I shoot only in bright sunlight at 1/60 and f/5.6 or f/8; depending on the scene .I don’t use a meter and I handhold the camera in every picture. I’ve been shooting infrared for years and average about 25 rolls a year in 35 mm plus an occasional 120 roll.

Thanks for capturing how handsome and sexy us viewers look btw. I actually really like the light rays in the photo at 0:52 . 4:03 is also breathtaking and WOW those tulips are so awesome. Great choice of background audio too.

Awesome work - especially the images from the botanic gardens. I also really like the architecture image near the end. Ive just finished a roll of Rollei 400 film myself and it will be dropped off at a lab within the next few days. This is the first time that I have shot IR B&W film. Years ago, I did shoot two rolls of some colour IR slide film but that one has been discontinued for a long time. With one of those films, I used a yellow filter and all the vegetation turned out pink. Very surreal.

Great video. Very interesting to hear you saying to use the cameras meter. I didn’t think most SLR cameras metered infrared light so their meters wouldn’t work. I thought you had to meter then lower five stops for the R72, thoughts? What camera are you using?

Popped up in my recommended videos - really cool content. I've just picked up some Rollei IR a couple days ago. Now I just need to get one of those filters...
