Roller Blinds - Changing the Roll Up Direction

Was trying to change the direction of my roller blind and this video was no help but I figured it out, just keep rolling the blind down till you reach the end of the roller, then keep rolling it down, it will start rolling up instead but in the opposite direction.

This is only a cosmetic change, the hanging clips fastened to the wall aren't the same so turning around the shade is only one step - the easiest!

Like me, the 11 people that have liked the comment below want to keep the front as the front and keep the pull chain where it is. Is that possible? My "blockout" blinds from Kresta let 20mm of daylight past each side, any ideas on reducing light transmission please?
