Could you be possible to know the reason of the presence of these wires between your hand and the tools?

Luca Zaccagnini It is a breaking mechanism... This is a prototype designed by a friend of mine in Australia. He sent them to me to test out. Because you can only really carve them... and not skid them like a ski to slow down the breaks are a nice safety feature.

I had actually supposed it but I was not sure; thanks for the revelation. It has to be a mechanical device (probably to be set out yet but I suppose very clever).I'm thinking about electronic breacking system for grass skis and skates. Recently I'm practicing grass skiing (with boots on) and Harald Harb's Carvers skating (with boots on like you do), especially in grass skiing the breaking phase is critical. On the asphalt I prefer "skiing" with Harb's Carvers just because they got two edges. I practiced roller blade "skiing" many years but when I hit the snow again (in the winter) I hadn't so much advantages by the summer training. Now, especially with grass skiing and Harb's Carver skiing I feel the things are getting better.

I think it is not that great. Much better harb carvers. You have more the feeling of carving.
