His actions in the movie seemed out of character. He literally enslaves a population and tries to get Krabs murdered. That seems way too horrific, even for him.

@@x-man9473 not really. Remember in the origin episode Plankton always wanted to rule people, since he was a kid he wanted to have power and rule over others. Enslaving all of bikini bottom is his goal, killing Krabs just makes sense after a good 70 years of trying to get the formula, no doubt he just hates Krabs completely at that point.

Also. they've shown Plankton to have a soft spot a few times before resorting back to his old self. The movie just takes him to full blown psycho level with no compassion. It just felt off.
