The demo is pretty solid! One bit of feedback I'd give though is that the camera can be a bit hard to control. I'm not really certain what could be done to improve it, but I do think an option to separate the camera from turning movements where the camera automatically starts moving to where you turn could potentially help.

Been playing a good bit of the demo since it released....I really need that camera fixed on some of the running upside down sections. Hard to not run off the edge when the camera is hard focused in the opposite direction. Loving everything else so far though!

This is by far my most anticipated game releasing in the next few years. This looks exactly like what I've been wanting out of 3D sonic for YEARS! The only thing I'm a bit iffy about is the breaks in the speed from controlling enemies, but I'm sure that's something that i'll either learn to love or learn to deal with. As soon as I have extra spending money, i'll be backing!

Is there gonna be lore to the game? Also, the jump panels where you break the wood and groundpound, the sfx is way too loud and you should add multiple that plays out random for some variations. Btw, good development 😊.

This demo made me understand why Sonic has recently stuck to the boost formula. It felt like it was trying to be Unleashed or Generations with Adventure-style sensibilities and level design. There's a lot of promise, but I found it very hard to maintain momentum between how the main character controls and how everything is laid out. There was no real sense of flow like I got in Sonic Adventure, nor was there a way of quickly gaining the speed you'd expect like in the boost games. Not a bad effort, but needs work.

There are a few ways to regain speed quickly after slowing down. Try revving up 4 times in the air and jumping as soon as you touch the ground! Also try doing an air dash after a dive kick to gain some extra distance in the air. Additionally, if you feel a little slow while rail grinding, try to do a double-jump and ball bounce back on the rail to transfer your vertical velocity into horizontal velocity.

This looks insanely cool. The gameplay looks on point, and a stylish character is important for a game like this and I'm pleased to say I love the look of Rascal. It feels like peak late 90's/ early 00's character design synthesized from components of Sonic, Mega Man, and Ash from Pokemon. Can't wait to try the demo after work.

Tip: You could make Rollin' have different colored clothing and glove skins. Yes, I know this is in the demo, but make them customizable. Example, I don't want to wear gloves or I want to wear shorter pants or another type of footwear...

My only problem with the game is that you can jump many parts of the level very easily, you jump very high very quickly on any downhill ramp. It doesn't feel like I'm skipping parts of the level because of my ability, just because the game makes it very easy.
