You can buy the droplets and spell books, so you can get heroes that are almost impossible to get as F2P. You can get 150 vines for around 170 droplets, which can be used to buy 60 hero crystals. 2000 vines for a Celestica, but I think it is too much of a time consumption. And 350 emblems for less than 200 spell books, which can be used to get either Rosespecter or Tusked Menace. Stones are for keepsakes, so not that necessary (IMO). It takes long, but I think it is worth it.

If you feel you don't need more resources. With traits you need 50k gems not 25k
