That’s because when you sing with a song you have the melody supporting your voice to where it won’t sound bad but when you sing alone your voice isn’t supported to then it sounds worse so my recommendation is a vocal coach that’s what helped me it just I still need help singing in front of people I have the problem of my voice going dry in front of people
