Having watched Adele grow in my UK homeland and seeing her impact on so many people, I am in awe of this cover. The songs that Foxes and Fossils cover are played with so much respect for the original artist BUT with an element of ownership, to the extent you could believe they were the original. Somethings in this life are meant to come together and deliver , it is so refreshing to see F&F now and in the past playing with a Love for Music and for that we must be humbly grateful.

I discovered F & F a couple of months, somehow I missed seeing this gem, until today. Sammy is my favorite, and she belted out this one !! This show had a whole different vibe than the first show, only a year earlier. I think the girls now realize how good they both really are, they are looser, having more fun, and a little bit of attitude, which is good.

That's a wonderful version. The song is completely covered, including the rather complex arrangements. It's not just Sammie's voice that stands out, the instruments and the backing vocals of Tim and Maggie do it as well. And it seems to me that Tim and Maggie had great fun performing it.

@@StuartMStrickland I know the video, had even discovered it before the Foxes&Fossils release. Until then, I guess they called themselves "The Mustangs". A great singer. And yet the Foxes version is much better. I don't want to say that Sammie is the better singer. But as a double act, Sammie and Maggie are unbeatable. It's the same as with ABBA. In Europe, everyone knows that Benny Andersson on keyboards was the real musical genius behind ABBA. As a composer, he's on the same level as Ed Sheeran. At least. But ABBA's recordings live on the vocals of the two ladies (kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5_Jq5mbbctshKs). You could replace both of them with a much better singer like Christina Aguilera, and it wouldn't come close to the original. In the video above, Maggie has an equal importance to Sammie. Pay attention to how she sings the backing vocals. Priceless.

F&F grew as a side project; that first 2010 concert had Scott onstage on bass, and future F&F guitarist Toby helping with sound. The Mustangs and F&F occasionally performed together, as with the 2014 concert. There is a photo of Amy Wallace onstage singing with both girls later in that show.
