Thank you! Works of art, out of the ordinary, (extraordinary) (fascinated) of rare beauty, opulent! And what luck that there are people on planet Earth who have the passion and the means to renovate, enhance and share with us the vision of such wonders! Thanks everyon */* Merci!

We had true artists during this time, hand made sculptures, practices long ago gone, and whats left is a few objects of stunning beauty. Unlike today where we have people who cant tie their own shoes and let snot fall outta their nose. They have no idea what to do about either.

In a sense, you are correct. Perhaps a little radical in your judgement. Old School Sense of Humour Unfortunately, today's life is far too fast -- and time appears to be zooming by. Here in Lisbon, Portugal -- a city with thousands of years -- very seldom I'm able to visit its fabulous Museums , EXPOs, Musical events, etc The entire World is becoming a Gigantic Plastic Mall...

Oh, Myyy God! The 1938 Talbot-Lago, the 1938 Delage Roadster -- and the entire Collection pieces truly are WORKS OF ART. Andy Taylor and his Deputy Barney Fife never afforded us a Visit to the NC MUSEUM OF ART. In such a "provincial " State, there were, after all, people with Great Vision and Education. Unfortunately, North Carolina and other states are never in the news for the good reasons. During my next trip to the USA, I'll be visiting N.C. -- and 2 days shall be dedicated to the N.C. MUSEUM OF ART From Lisbon, Portugal, Congratulations Are In Order -- a Fabulous Resident Collection!

The PowerPoint transitions and "artistic enhancements" of blurred focus and visual distortions in this presentation detract from the quality of the exhibit which is itself exceptional and well worth seeing.

I was thinking the same thing. Too many gimmicky transitions.

No artist ever feels their masterpieces are what one refers to, as being "FINISHED"... BUT, SEEING THESE,... I WOULDN'T CHANGE A SINGLE THING! JUST GORGEOUS... VÒILE....
@timmayer87235 жыл бұрын
Perfectionist working in sheet metal, no detail too small ,no concept left unexplored, countless time and money spent on trifling details, the artists passion came first, family, friends, relationships a distant third, consummate artists know when their masterpiece is complete , every angle, color, dimension, stance, focus, sweep, the very awe the artist had worked for is finished.

When someone says "The new so and so is the best looking car of all time!!!" I laugh and shake my head. Both funny and sad that they have probably not seen the works of art produced in the 1930s.

They don't know anything besides a model t broken down on a curb and a 1957 modified chevy' with modern sports wheels on it that they refer to as "old but gold". I just named 7000 of the same people.

The Chrysler Airflow, a work of art??? No, the Airflow was designed by engineers to be a more efficient car. The way the air flows around that thing lowers the drag so it is a more efficient car, then the pretty cars it was competing with on the market. The parts inside the car were re-arraigned , so it is more comfortable and easier to drive than cars that are a rolling sculpture. The problem was most people thought it looked weird and /or ugly, so this mistake cost Chrysler plenty of market share.

I agree with the last comment, what a wasted opportunity to show these fabulous vehicles, spoilt by all the distortions, fades, splits etc etc.......interesting things don’t need to be embellished with any of that “artistic” crap......I stopped watching after 1 minutes......zzzzz
