How does the new gimmick work?

When you go trough the portal thing your ball either receives positive or negative energy. So if you receive positive (+) energy you need to go trough the blue guys and if you have negative (-) energy you need to go trough the red guys. The collored ball thing only works with the normal ball, otherwise you can look at the gate cuz you can see if it will give positive or negative energy

Also after the ball goes trough the guys like 3 times u will smash trough those obstacles as if you get an pink powerup from 1UP. If you have one wrong you will basically be softlocked

When your ball acquires a charge (blue negative charge or red positive charge), hitting bricks of the opposite color will grant you a speed boost, and hitting the opposite color bricks three times in a row will earn you that pink smashing-obstacles effect from 1up; any single wrong hit will result in softlock because you won't be able to obtain that smashing-obstacles effect :3
