Su época más salvaje, los 70. Conciertos con melodías a toda pastilla, Jagger recitando más que cantando, Richards y Wood rasgando las cuerdas a todo trapo, y la sección rítmica aguantando el tipo.

And both show Bill's prowess. He's pretty advanced in this live performance, his choices more fluid, his rhythms dancing about. I the descending lines over the "...oh so pretty" he skips pulses, making spots for Charlie in between. It puts an odd skip to the time but then he "catches up". Great stuff.

We once opened for The Stones back in the early 1960's and the late Ian Stewart, the 6th Stone who we knew well, loved our version of our Decca recording - please take a moment to have a look at this link as I managed to get our old band The Presidents back together to perform the long lost recording made in 1965 that was found in 2018, and released that June. @A mystery as The Stones released their version on their Out Of Our Heads Decca album??

Also if ya dig this song by The Rolling Stones on youtube 😀 you may enjoy the song " Most of All " By Glenn Kaiser and Where Roses Grow Live by Rez Band Awesome songs check them out. I remember hearing the song by Led Zepp " In My Time of Dyin " during my drug years and made me think about death and Jesus. Then a hippy friend that dug Jesus told me more of Jesus love and forgiveness and how I could also know Jesus love. So in 1981 I cried out to Jesus and wow man He came into my life and I had and have so much joy and peace and now know that through Jesus when I die I will be with Him in Heaven. Hey Jesus loves each of you also and yall can know Him if you are at all open. Just cry out to Him and also read the Gospel of John in the Bible or check out the movie on KZbin. 😀

Yeah they perked up with cocaine, Jagger's two chord songs, and their worst tour ever. I saw them in 1978 in Oakland on Jagger's birthday July 26, 1978. Jerry Hall was seated way up in the empty bleachers behind the stage. Worst concert I've ever attended. Keith wasn't even audible in the mix. Jagger and the band were bored shitless during the entire performance. No doubt several grams pulled them through. Two chords three chords every song from Some Girls sounded very very similar. Jagger thought he had a clue about punk rock, but was sadly mistaken. And of course almost none of the Stones' fans even noticed. Disco Miss You.

Yeah until you try playing the songs and you find that they are almost a three chord band. But they aren't. First because every so often they throw in a chord that most people with a normal hand span can't reach, across four or five frets, I continue to try those, and fail. Second because they use different tunings like Open G. I understand what you say as I saw them in London in '76, and it wasn't great, but that was mostly Earls Court and the acoustics or lack of. "Let's Spend The Night Together" the movie concert often gets slagged off, but for me it's great, cos it's rough and it swaggers. We went to see The Corrs some years ago and they were note perfect, pitch perfect, and stood there and played their songs and it was the most boring evening of my entire life. Ain't never been bored at a Stones concert.............................

they've never been the same since they fired Bill Wyman. One may argue for Mick Taylor or Ron Wood but the period '68 through about 1978 they are the undisputed best imho.

Bill Wyman left on his own. He hates flying. If you want to learn bass guitar he's one of the players you try to copy.
