Ventilator Blues is a Rolling Stones song off the 'Exile on Main St.' album. This is my favorite son and album by the Stones. I do not have the copyright to this song, it is put up for entertainment reasons only

There is no comparing the Beatles to the Stones. Two different musical directions. The perfect chemistry of the players makes me a believer in miracles. How chance or fate or ....brought together the ultimate musicians. They were all friends by the way .I Love both bands. Will listen to them again and again. Never gets old.

Mick Taylor layed this track down..... I usually dont get involved in who's best debates, and I am a real fan of Ronnie Wood since back with The Faces.... But seriously, there is no comparison to the fluid, unbelieveable spontaneous licks and runs that Taylor gave us. And here's another thought - The Stones could never recreate this song on the road, and they don't ever play it live since MT left the band. I love Ron Wood, but Stones were at their best when Mick Taylor was raising their game

Watts said in 2003, “We always rehearse ‘Ventilator Blues’ [for tours]. It’s a great track, but we never play it as well as the original. Something will not be quite right; either Keith will play it a bit differently or I’ll do it wrong. It’s a fabulous number, but a bit of a tricky one. Bobby Keys wrote the rhythm part, which is the clever part of the song. Bobby said, ‘Why don’t you do this?’ and I said, ‘I can’t play that,’ so Bobby stood next me to clapping the thing and I just followed his timing. In the world of Take Five, it’s nothing, but it threw me completely and Bobby just stood there and clapped while we were doing the track - and we've never quite got it together as well as that.”

The only song that was credited to Mick Taylor during his tenure with the Stones. His began with Let it Bleed and left after It's Only Rock n Roll.

I heard in a documentary that this song was the Stones first sign of real acceptance of Mick Taylor. He was a full partner in the song's development, and it's where some of his first outstanding guitar work is included.

One of the songs off this album they've never played live. They couldn't replicate this song on stage. I'd give anything to see them play Let It Loose in November.

Who is rating the Stones. Come on. You gotta love them. They have some good spirit inside to make such music. There is songs I might like better. But I want the whole complete Rolling Stones catalog
