This is a gorgeous game! I think you were playing hard move activated, because you actually may place multiple cubes on cards during the same turn 😉 Thanks for the gameplay!

That's correct! I mentioned this in the pinned comment and video description. What got me was the 'Place 1' in the actions overview section of the rulebook. Noticed later the specific mention that multiple placements were allowed for animals. That certainly bumps up the fun and points! 😄

Thanks for the solo playthrough of this one. While the gameplay looks interesting, my concern is that BYOS with just a couple variants may not keep my interest long-term

All good! I did make one slip during gameplay. You can place as many animal cubes as you wish on your turn that you meet requirements for. So that really ramps up the fun and points building combos.

Is it possible to build over a mountain?

Might need an example to answer correctly. A building can go on top of one mountain for example.

I think they should stop making good looking games, temptation, temptation..... I didn't watch the gameplay part, but the review and mechanics discussion convinced me that this one is another add to my to get list at my FLGS. Thanks again.

looks nice and lovely, but i'm a bit sad that the solo didn't come with some challenges like we got in Cascadia and Calico Cheers from belgium

There is a good (I think non official) solo challenge on BoardGameGeek in the Harmonies file.

Very true. I fully expect based on the popularity of this game that additions will be made to address your thoughts officially too. I had similar thoughts!
