Hi Everyone! Couple things to note: #1. Whisper didn't need to use his last action around 17:00 to reorganize because when treasure is picked up you can reorganize for free. Whisper has one action remaining which I will use at the start of the next video! #2. I missed the Shadow ability of our Battle Wizard which provides +1 Bam when in a shadow area. The staff I'm carrying currently uses a Bam to get +1 attack. Something to remember going forward. #3. The Scepter treasure Elias picked up is a one handed weapon, so I will be equipping this at the start of the next video as I get to reorganize for free. The Staff and the Scepter can be used together. :) Thanks for the feedback everyone!

One detail you didn't fully get. When you kill a mob boss, agent or roaming monster, the character that did the last blow immediately collects the treasure. It doesn't take an action to pick up.

Great video and my go to for every board game gameplay. One thing that I am having trouble is the demarcation of the zones. For example, I think the first room could possibly have only 2 zones only. The room with the key could be a second room with one zone that's why two doors.

Around the 16 minute mark... Whenever you pick up a treasure card you're allowed a free reorganize action. That means Whisper could have equipped the dagger for free and then had a free action left. Also, if you get a treasure card you can give it to another character in the same zone, and THEY would get a free reorganization even if it's not their turn.

Whisper, not Elias. Though that extra action by whisper might have picked up the 3 chests Elias got, so that Elias would use his last action to get the chests in the final space instead.

I am still waiting for my copy of this so thanks for showing it off. I have seen other play through videos though so I think my advice will be correct but you might want to double check since I don't actually have and have never actually played this game yet. The scepter can be duel wielded with the staff so Elias can roll 2 yellows per attack. Also I think if you combo the ring with the Armor of Life it would basically trigger the healing effect on every defense.

Man, talk about some bad card draws with those Roaming Monsters so early in the game. Great video, Adam! I really enjoy the lighting. Some massive shadows were cast. :D

Sorry this is late, you may have seen this already, but I just stumbled upon your vids. Just a note, because Elias didn't need spend his last action to reorganize, he could have saved that action, and used his free teleport to get to the library and pick up the key and treasure on this last turn.

Yeah, it's tough to get a new game down on the first try, but I love the vids, keep 'em coming. I saw your vids after pushing through solo on my first try. Thought it funny cause I also only used two heroes, and also used Elias as one, but used the Barbarian as the other (forget the name right now). But I did use the purple and red markers as well with purple on Elias. I didn't complete my try, but the take away for me was this is the first CMON game that I've played that does not start out easy! All the Zombicide games start out easy and get harder as you go, but this is a challenge right out of the gate.

I agree! A very fun one indeed. I like the increased difficulty from Zombicide when starting out. I also really like the loot system. Very Diablo like. :)

When the Wizard attacks for the first time, is he in a shadow tile, right? So, I think he can activate his shadow skill and add +1 bam to each roll.

You're 100% right. The bam can then be used by the staff to add +1 attack. Our Battle Wizard will be a bit better going into the next one for sure. Cheers

I think you’ll see it come back in some form or fashion down the road. Also, there are ways to hunt it down on the second hand market. Just don’t pay a premium for it. Local board game Facebook buy/sell are your best bet!

Maybe it's just me and I'm sure it changes as you get further in the game but the game seems a little too tough for my taste. The fact that enemies get to counter attack and they outnumber you both in numbers and in how much die they roll seems pretty dumb

I'm not that familiar with the rules but shouldn't the wizard be getting to use their shadow skill since they're standing in the darkness? Also, you need to stop referring to Whisper as 'he' all the time. :P Also it's an Ogre (Oh-gur or Oh-ger if you prefer) not an Org.
