I remember seeing him in Santa Barbara at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in the 60's. I was sitting in the 3rd row on the lap of of a guy I just met. David was in the Byrds at the time. We had some eye contact; I was only about 16 at the time, but I always remembered his beautiful voice and followed his ups and downs through life. Love his honesty, his beautiful words and so happy he made it through all those crazy daze!!! Love you David! Trophy hunters suck!!!

I remember way back when you all were on Tom Jones show in 1970 and sang together, I was at Woodstock when you were there, I still have a bunch of your old albums that I cherish! Crosby is a very funny guy. It must be the weed that keeps him smiling. He also gives very good advise. I am a few years younger than he is and went through the hippie drug culture for about five years. It was fun while it lasted, but changed my lifestyle to avoid ending up like many people I knew who are now dead and gone

i am not a hunter but i run a soup kitchen for the homeless and starving . every year hunters donate 300 thousand pounds of beef ( venison , elk , etc ) to feed out less fortunate . it is easy to knock hunting when you are well fed , but trust me when you are on the front lines of families starving you take a different view .

Ask most true hunters and they will tell you "trophy hunting" is NOT hunting. I also hate those who go shooting at so-called "game preserves"... these animals are nothing more than glorified livestock, it's like shooting fish in a barrel or going to a farm to shoot cows in a pasture!
