How do the leaderboard mods know if it’s a real run or a tas this looks like an easier game to fake then most?

great question! the very guy who actually made the TAS tool (which is still private, only he has access to it) also made a competition patch for the game which will automatically detected TASed runs (simply put every TAS replay has a "signature" engraved into it by which you can distinguish it from normal replays), but not just this, it also will catch ANY form of cheating, being it slowing down the game, or injecting inputs (macros) into it. The official leaderboards site TMX (made by the community) will also soon make it mandatory to drive replays you wanna upload in this patch.

I have almost 2000 attempts and only one finish, which is pretty bad. I struggle most on when to turn and how long to release for. Do you also just go with your gut on these, or do you watch some points on the track or even count seconds since start? I will be grateful for any respond.

Just meant to be a fun casual game but over the years the community discovers crazy bugs and mechanics that completely change the way you play this game. Couldn't one just somehow get more speed leading up to the jump and, because the finish line reaches outside of the barriers on the edges, simply hit the edge while in the air to get something below 14.53? So like you don't touch the track in front of the finish line and just keep flying to graze the edge yk?

I'd rather you didn't slow down the vid when showing off the demo. It really feels slow. I get the need to present it in the cinematic way but, I think It's the best to let the demo play in normal speed and then replay it in 3rd person in slow mo.
