0:23 - Just as well the suspension is doing all the work, because there's two fifths of bugger-all tire sidewall to help out. You make the wheels light and relatively small compared to that huge and heavy body and it's a no-brainer - when hitting bumps they don't have the inertia to throw the body upwards.

Yeah, light wheels and lots of wheel travel help, but you would need super soft springs and the car would sink immediately. This level of performance cannot be achieved with any passive system

The issue I’ve found isn’t bumps. It’s potholes and cracks in the road. Where I live here in New York those always manage to create the worst feeling at nearly any speed. (Yes I know you guys in Europe don’t have that problem blah blah) but even the air suspension on my friends dads Mercedes results in a harsh bump going over those.

Actually the bumps are spaced in a way that the spring of shock absorber never relaxes hence the car stays in same position ... increase the space of the bumps like 2 or 3 metres , the car will be in pieces.🤣🤣🤣🤣
