This engine is so bullet proof, VW decided to go back to the L series over the w12 in the new Mulsanne. Classic example of getting design right the first time right.

A toyota lexus is made with machines and 30hours of human labour per car - with redesign technolgy from europe. A small boutiqe car manfacture that makes traditional hand made cars engines - tested way more than manfactured cars. The lovely1950s engine can run at full throttle for over 100 hours way before asia was developed by white impearalism. My father been mechanic for 50 years including RR military and we have number of cars including R.R - any car if maintain right will treat u well

I'm glad my Lexus' engine wasn't built like that! Check the respective frequency of repair rates.

Interesting, a deep skirted, cross bolted block. Does anyone know if the block & heads are aluminum are Iron? I was quite suprised to see that they hand lap the valves! They don't even give it a proper valve job? Wow.

hell with rr they r so backkward/ they dont hgave robots? thats strange,, the video glorifies the lack by giving favour to manual work,, this shows how reluctant rr is to adopt new standards and advancement,,
