I'm surprised this hasn't got many views . . . I toughly enjoyed it. Thank you.

Thanks for posting! Not seen this before. I had a 75 Shadow and would love another. Still prefer the chrome bumpers of the first Shad compared to the II.

At 13:49 you mentioned the Silver Shadow 2 which was introduced in 1977 so it should not be in this "1975" film. Still, a very inspiring film so MANY thanks for sharing, take care.

There's nothing quite like owning a Rolls-Royce.

Brilliant. I wonder whether they gave Chris Mitchemore a freebie for producing this ? I'm sure he'd have aspired to one but as a lowly BBC presenter it would have been a few notches above his class. I bet they did a deal with him though ! Great vid, cheers Chris.

This can’t be from 1975. The Shadow 2 wasn’t launched until 1977.

You mean Queen Elizabeth?

Now Rolls Royce cars are made by BMW using BMW parts - so no longer is it reliable, no longer can you get any part for any car, and owning one is pointless.

In the woke world of today you can't give these away. No one wants what they represent or stand for. Some will see you drive by and follow you home to rob you. If at a stop light/sign or fuel station may outright attack or damage the car. Currently i've been seeing hundreds of RR's for sale on YT. All thinking someone will still pay half a mill for a car requiring $70K for a typical servicing. I'd say just put it in a museum but even the museum's are trying to get rid of them. These days are gone.

They still sell plenty. Fortunately not everyone is as woke as you.

Sadly it is true that they are worth very little, especially considering the incredibly high price hen new. They are complex and require proper maintenance and many didn't get that. Parts are easily available but very expensive. I don't know about newer (BMW) Rolls, but good older ones can be found and used as daily drivers if you are prepared to pay for their care and gas consumption. Not all is lost.
