Thank you for this free pattern. I love it. I just made it with WPC and I didn't' have leather so I used vinyl and it worked ok, feels a little thin and flimsy (the closure Not the bag) but good enough for me I also used fashion snaps cuz thats all I had Will definitely make another one using leather though once I buy some

Leather is the best but vinyl will work. You will need two layers of vinyl though.

I really like this bag and plan to make using waterproof canvas. What stitch length should be used?

I tend to us 3mm for the seams and 4 or 5 for the top stitching

We sell our own waxed canvas. But we have limited stock so we also recommend merchant and mills in the UK.
