I tried sitski once and tilted half way down the slope. I felt my brain took a long walk before it decided to return. Wasn't for me. Skisledging on the other hand is something I have kept on doing. You sit on your knees strapped to a sledge with skis underneath. Then use your arms and sticks to move forward. You really excercise your legmuscles after a couple of miles.
