Well they are distorting like mad (clipping in other words outputting flat topped waves to the speaker and creating noise) but then who can tell chronic distortion and noise from music in Jamaica?
@isettech6 жыл бұрын
The goal is LOUD. Notice how they only have 3 QSC amps for that rack of speakers. Distortion is normal. So is blown gear. Loved the on site electrician and electrical safety. A very cringe worthy system. This type of installation is more common than not for carnival. Hearing protection is highly recommended. Some mobile parade systems are running on multiple 5KW contractor generators to run the equipment. They don't bother with silent generators. They just drown them out.

Some of you guy in here is full of shit. Not every sound system owner can afford top tier equipment, for you to come in here and say what a man should or shouldn't have in his amplifier rack is not needed. Not all of us have 3 or 4 people spending in a sound system, some of we have families and this is a hobby. I buy what I can afford until I'm able to upgrade in the future. Far too many times we only seek to point of the bad instead of highlighting the good. For those of you who have a problem please put your own sound system together and show us how it's done. If not then shut the fuck up. Thank you

That's the way it is! I completely agree with your comment and I'm also sorry that people are in the habit of making references to this or that equipment, for nothing. This is not a good thing. Good it is when someone observe, listen (not on KZbin), draw sound technical conclusions and recommends the sound service to a new customer. That is what makes the owner of a somehow poor equipment make money and can invest in better equipment. Greetings from Portugal.

I get and hear that, just seems like they waste soo much time with all these test...surely they could just have a few basic presets ready from what type of places they have been already and just do minor tweaks to suit whatever they feel is necessary at the time. But I agree it's all 'part of the culture', like a ritual...they could have been to the same place the week before and I bet they would still be setting up like they never been there lol.
