Excellent, what has been puzzling me is the scene where Gregory Peck comes upon Princess Ann sleeping on the bench. Was it shot up top or down below? In the original scene shows a car driving between the two columns which today would not be possible today.

It was surprising for me as well. The simplest explanation for me is that there was a "modern" street at the times of the shooting (hence there is part of road turn and sudden wall) which later they changed into "ancient" road (pic at 1:02).

Absolutely nowhere can I find the answer to how the film was filmed and photographed entirely in Rome even though they show scenes from her visits to London, Amsterdam and Paris. Did those sites appear on a curtain? And if so, it wouldn't really have all been filmed and photographed in Rome, would it?

I don't recall such scenes (seen the movie long time ago) but they might have used some establishing shots from library and record interiors at the studio in Rome.
